“Designing a custom engagement ring with Susie Saltzman was a much needed breath of fresh air in what had become a confusing and even stressful experience working with other designers. After visiting some local jewelers and showrooms I was left feeling disappointed by the buying process that seemed so routine and transactional.

Each of these salespeople would quickly dive into their pitch that would end with a loud thud as they tossed a massive binder of ring designs on their jewelry case. Despite the overwhelming amount of options, this approach offered nothing personal or unique to one of the biggest decisions and purchases of my life.

After a few weeks of these kinds of interactions I finally realized that buying a ring for my (now) future wife should be keeping me awake with excitement, not fear!

That is when I contacted Susie, the best decision I could have made.

I had seen some of Susie’s designs on Emily’s (my fiancée) Pinterest and Instagram pages and decided to contact her about a custom ring design. At this point I had a tight timeline between my planned proposal date and admittedly did not think it would be possible to make it work with Susie. And would I really be comfortable buying a diamond engagement ring without seeing it in person?

To my pleasant surprise she contacted me almost immediately and within hours we were on the phone talking through the process and putting together a game plan. Susie was incredible to work with every step of the way. In our short time of working together I truly felt the personal touch she brought to the process. All of the negative feelings I’d had from previous experiences quickly faded as Susie helped re-emphasize how special this time should be. Her professionalism and style found a perfect balance of walking me through each aspect of the design without feeling “pushy”.

Susie was highly responsive each time I reached out with questions and had an excellent approach to help guide and educate me on the different styles and options on diamonds, rings and settings.

Sure enough Emily absolutely loves her new favorite piece of jewelry and receives countless compliments from friends, family, and co-workers. I am so thankful to Susie for her beautiful design and for her work to help make such a happy lifelong memory”.

Can I give 10 stars?!?!! My (now) fiancee has followed Susie's work for years and has always talked so highly of her design and taste being an exact match for the type of ring she would want! After trying our luck with local jewelers, we found ourselves constantly coming back to Susie's website and perusing her Instagram. Needless to say, it wasn't long before we reached out and immediately struck up a connection with Susie and her team! Susie was 100% ON TOP of *every* question and concern we had, and her turn-around on providing us with design images, sending shipping labels and appropriate paperwork was LIGHTNING fast. Most of all, the ring that my fiancee had Susie's help designing is absolutely GORGEOUS. We marvel at it every day and are so lucky to have chosen Susie Saltzman to move forward with for our engagement ring. Last little cherry on top is that her ring packaging + materials are outstanding and very refined. Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about Susie's work, her personality, and her professionalism as a jewelery designer. We absolutely will be back to purchase from Susie in the future! What an experience!
